It depends on the hours, the level of care and how it is paid for. We give you a written rate before care starts and we do not have hidden fees. Call and we will talk through real numbers for your situation rather than a range from a brochure.
Traditional Medicare does not pay for ongoing non-medical home care. It covers short-term skilled home health after a qualifying event, which is a different service. Some Medicare Advantage plans do include in-home supportive benefits, and we verify that before care starts.
Home health is skilled, medical, physician-ordered and time-limited — nurses and therapists. Home care is the daily, hands-on and household help that keeps someone safe at home, and it can continue as long as it is needed. Many clients have both at once and we coordinate with the home health agency.
Often the same day or the next. We take same-day discharge referrals. Send the referral form and call us at the same time and we will start staffing while we read it.
Yes. We run criminal background checks, verify certifications against the Georgia registry, and check references before anyone enters a client home.
Yes. Fit matters more than most people expect, and if a match is not working we will change it. Tell us early rather than putting up with it.
It varies by service and area. Call and ask — we would rather tell you honestly than have you assume we cannot help.
Yes, either with a live-in caregiver or with rotating shifts and awake overnight staff. Which one fits depends mostly on whether the person sleeps through the night.
Yes. We provide aide and companion hours alongside your hospice team, never instead of it.
